CENTER TOWNSHIP

BUTLER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

Effective April 19, 2004, the Center Township Board of Supervisors adopted the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code.  All new structures and changes to existing structures require a building application to be completed to ensure compliance to the Center Township Zoning Ordinance and the new Code.

BUILDING PERMITS ARE VALID FOR ONE YEAR CONSTRUCTION MUST BEGIN WITHIN SIX MONTHS AFTER THE ISSUANCE DATE.

An appointment is no longer needed to process a building application. The package includes a checklist, list of inspections, and an application to be completed prior to submission to the office. After submission, the inspector will review and notify you when it is ready for pick up.

If property was recently subdivided, proof of recording must be received in the office, prior to issuance of a property address or building permit.
